Marilyn Arlene Cook Bulkley grew up in Bayside, Long Island, New York. After graduation I went to Beaver College, a Presbyterian girls’ liberal arts school outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, majoring in languages. I attended the Latin America Institute taking English and Spanish shorthand and translated for a major pharmaceutical company in the medical department. I moved to Murphy 12 years ago, church searched, and came back to my Scottish background roots and found my church home family at Murphy Presbyterian Church – Praise God!
